Hey, sorry to bother you, but I wanted to ask a question about the price reward. I've been trying to do the calculation myself, and my amount is different than the one listed here. Can you check what I calculated wrong? I've been trying to use the grading system you guys have, but it's a bit confusing.

I'll try to explain as best I can! Here's the math and a little explaination:
We start with the Base Reward and pick the one most applicable. In this case, I would go with fullbody because at least one character is drawn completely.
+ 200 for a fullbody
Then I move on to the Add-ons section.
+150 for lines
+150 for color
+ 500 for detail background (all the detailed items in the image, books, items on the table, etc.)
+ 400 for detailed shading (there's an evident light source throughout the image and bg, there's shadows and highlights throughout, etc.)
Add together all the add-ons with the base for a total of 1,400 so far.
Now for the Bonus rewards.
Because it's a trainer with one of their pokemon, the base total with add-ons gets doubled to 2,800.
+200 for each additional pokemon(which I missed that lil' litwick hiding in there) so +1,000 total, bringing it to 3,800
+ 1,000 for the new job bonus, bringing the overall total to 4,800.
I hope this clarifies it a little bit? If you have any other questions, don't hesitate to ask, it's not a bother at all! I'd much rather members ask instead of just keep wondering!

It looks like yours was so different maybe because you didn't go in descending order? like on the "How to earn PD" page, it goes Base rewards, Add-ons, then Bonus, but in your calculations it looks like you didn't go in order, so your Bonuses for the extra 5 pokemon got doubled as well as the base rewards, if that makes sense? If you go by each section when adding up PD, it makes it a little simpler. When a trainer is drawn with it's pokemon, we only double the Base reward and Add-ons, and add any Bonuses on top of that. Did that make sense?Β

It is different now, but the new job bonuses are still listed under the 'Bonuses' section, not the 'Add-ons' section. It says 'doubles the base reward' which would be anything added up in the 'Base Rewards' and 'Add-ons' section. And then it says '+ bonuses listed above' so you add the Bonuses to the doubled base total, not include it in the doubled base rewards, hence the '+' sign. I hope that clears it up a little? And again, no trouble at all!
