I've finally gotten back into painting just in time for grad school to start back up again! Ya know, I have great timing. This time I wanted to focus on the hands as they've always been a weakness of mine. Slowly but surely, I think I may actually be getting a little better at them! Hah

Anyway, this is Skandar, the main character of my first literary child The Harvest Ring , being a snot like he always is.

The fourth draft of the novel is nearing completion!! I'm so excited to print out another proofing copy. This round of edits has been tough on my soul (cutting 20k words from my baby is both painful and freeing). It's still not the proper length for a debut novel, but I'm not going to take any more out, at least not another drastic revision (The Harvest Ring is around 180k words and most debut fantasy novels are 90-110k).
