Description
I have yet to play any of the Myst games, though I have known of them for quite some time. Many years ago I remember briefly seeing Riven: The sequel to Myst, but at the time I had no idea what any of it was about, other than solving obscure pizzles while traveling through incrdibly pretty scenery.A few days ago, however, a friend of mine introduced me to the main theme music of Myst III: Exile...and it has rappidly become one of my absolute favourite pieces of music. Consequently, I went searching around for info on this game, and discovered that it actually has a very interesting storyline, and some apparently good characters as well. In one of the trailers for Myst III, you see this character (named Saavedro from what I gather), and I decided he looked suitably dramatic that I would paint him. The title of this painting is a quote from what he says in the scene.
I painted this in a similar style to 'Devils and Angels' and also, like the Sherrif of Nottingham, I had to add in the top of the head myself as the picture was cut off at the top in the trailer.

I absolutely love this game to its fullest. The actor plays Saavedro so well. He makes the character seem desperate almost to the point of scary and creepy. If you have not played the games yet, I highly recomend you do.
If you liked the main title theme music of Myst III Exile, you should listen to the end credits music.

Hey there, thanks for the fav!
I don't know if I've heard the piece they used for the credits...because, there's the 'Main Theme' and there's the 'Opening Titles' music - both of which contain some of the same themes, but are different versions. It's possible that the Opening Titles was used for the game's intro, while the Main Theme version was used for the credits...? I'll have to check when I get the game ^^ (and that shouldn't be too difficult - I believe it's quite old now so it's hardly going to be expensive)

Deed. -nods- It makes for quite a different experience, because you end up not drawing half the figure at all
