This Draglow has little antenna, coral on its head and a coral shell, fins on its head, large front flippers and no hind legs, and a finned tail.

About the Draglow:

Shadows, those dark copies of ourselves that always follow us, are reflections of the heart. Every human is naturally flawed, and when we step into the light these faults become visible. But Draglow are born as light. We can see them, but not touch, our hands would go right through them. At first they search for accessories or scraps of things to wear, once they are satisfied with their appearance, their body solidifies into something squishy and dough-like. They then bind themselves to their human owners as their shadow.

Light heals darkness. So when they bind to an owner, it looks as though the owner suddenly doesn't have a shadow. This form is called a light-shadow: has all the properties of shadow (flat, able to stretch, go through any obstacle, firmly attached to their owner), but since the light and darkness cancel each other out, it's invisible. Someone who bonds with many Draglow however, may find that they have a glowing presence or leave behind trails of sparkles wherever they go.

Draglow can transform between the invisible light-shadow and solid form at will, and they can even stay in their light-shadow form for short periods of time while separate from their owner. When light-shadow, they can creep along, flat and invisible, across walls, floors, or any objects... as long as there is light. They can't pass through darkness on their own. This ability comes in handy if they are separated and their owner has become ill or hurt. They can pass right through solid objects.

Because they are light, they are naturally healing creatures. They can mend not only physical injuries or sickness, but they can heal broken hearts as well. They do this through song. Their language is comprised of squeaks, chirps, and nonsensical baby-like noises such as "pip" "wee" "wa" "roo", etc. They have a fantastic sense of hearing, and whenever one Draglow begins to sing its healing magic, any Draglow within a mile will come as well, and join in as a chorus. They are about the same size as birds, and eat energy like sunshine or even static cling (please do not accidentally forget them at the laundromat!).
