Description
Conjoined SentimentsThe joys and difficulties of being together from a twins perspective.
In a 29-year long connection with each other, is it possible to be together or be alone? These two girls show us how they can be lovely and cute, and sometimes how rejecting and agressive they are.
This is the third of the three images, which shows the Anger. If you are interested, take a look at the other two emotions too:
Conjoined Sentiments 1 - Affection
Conjoined Sentiments 2 - Apathy

This is the first set of pictures that I've seen of conjoined twins done artistically like these. I am amazed by not only the quality of the picture/piece but also by how well the came through in the finished product. Congratulations all of you for such wonderful picture!

it's funny 'cause if this was real it would be counterproductive! you try to hurt the other one and then you feel the pain too! (if it works like that) me and my pretend twin like to say that if one of us gets hurt, the other feels it.
this is an awesome series, by the way!

Actually, it doesn't work like that. There was a documentary on the Discovery Channel some years back about a two headed woman and they did tests that showed that each head only felt the sensation of touch when the object touching them was on their side of the body. As for the middle part, I'm not sure, but I would assume there is a kind of "blurry" area in the middle where both of them feel.

That is very interesting... Thanks for sharing the information. It would have to do with how the peripheral nervous system is "wired" to the two brains... I think that in some cases, each head would only feel the pain on their side of the body while in other cases of conjoined twins, each head would only feel the pain on the opposite side of the body. The left side of the brain controls the right side of the body and vice versa in ordinary people. I have peripheral neuropathy because of an accident, and so i have little fine motor control and diminished feeling on the left side of my body... Sometimes the left side of my body feels completely weightless, I have no sensation of gravity at all while it remains normal on the right side of my body, and sometimes the sensation of weight/gravity is much stronger on the left side of my body. I think this kind of thing is fascinating... It also gives an interesting perspective on Biocentricism (the theory that there is no physical universe; it is only what we imagine it to be)sometimes can't feel gravity, but I don't go floating off into space, so it must exist even when I can't perceive it. However our interpretation of the universe is nothing but perception. So where is the line between the perceived universe and the physical universe?

Hmm. interesting. You learn something new every day. Thanks! I’ll remember that!
But I was mostly just trying to be funny, not make any kind of logical sense. But I really do appreciate the info! That’s actually the exact same thing I would do in your position, can't help it! Being an aspie and all! (if you immediately know what an aspie is short for you get one free cookie fresh from the dark side!)

i honestly don't really now. i just know there's a meme that goes "come to the dark side. we have cookies." and as a result i came up with the my cookie joke, because people offer eachother cookies over the internet a lot. i have no idea what it all refers to.
