Arthur takes some time out from the war effort to catch up on the news.Oddly, he finds himself none the wiser come morning...
(It's hard to make out in the photo but that's a wartime newspaper replica. It's awesome! It has adverts for cigarettes that give you a 'healthy glow' and some of the best headlines ever. XD There's an article concerning the relationship with Egypt at the time; a British minister was saying that Egypt didn't HAVE to fight for us, but they SHOULD remember what good friends they are and all the clauses they've signed, etc etc. XDD;; )

What an adorable photo! I love the little poppy pin detail and that you used a vintage newspaper instead of simply grabbing a modern one. It really does add that extra character to the image, and sets up a story for Arthur as opposed to it just being a stale photo.
I also really love the warm hues, it gives it a generally sleepy/vintage feel.
