well lego has to look atit from an economic point of view. bionicle didnt made enough money so they had to cancel the line 2009 so they wouldnt lose that big amount of money. then some workers come and plead to them to make an actual ending to this line in 2010. so they have to calculate in: an add, a website, comics, books. take the money they could afford to put in a theme that doesnt realy makes enough money and take the amount you need for the mentioned stuff and you have the amount you can put into sets. it may sound a bit harsh but economicaly it just mkes no sense to make big sets to a line that doesnt makes enough money heck economicaly 2010 doesnt makes sense at all. emotionaly it may be different but lego is a company. they have to earn money to pay their workers and materials so they have to put economy before emotions thats just the truth
