Did this for a fantasy map project. This is a really nice design that seems to be pretty popular on maps, and I can see why. The decorative markings around the edges also function as pretty nifty degree markings. This doesn't have any letters or anything, which I intentionally left out so that you could use whatever font goes best with what you're making. It's also black and white, with the intent that you would change the color to suit whatever you're doing, for instance, I ended up making mine a particular shade of sepia. Enjoy.Related content

This is brilliant - simple, yet beautifully done and very easy to use ^ .^ I put it to use here ... Might have slightly broken it, but hey, what good's a perfect map, eh? ;]

So, we were looking for designs to etch into an end-table with a laser cutter I recently got access to, and we found this and it was perfect!

You're right. There should be a zip file with the SVG in it. At the time I uploaded this I remember having some trouble with getting .zip files to upload, and this may have gone unnoticed. Thank you and I'll try to fix this.

It's really nice! And no, I don't mind. It's a resource, it's made to create with, and I've never really seen a problem with playing around with stuff if you need something a little different. I do like the gears though, is it a steampunk themed world?

It's an eclectic world but yes, I'm a huge addict of steampunk aesthetic so it will be mainly a mix of victorian, exotic and amerindian styles
