I'M FREEEEEEEEEEE BITCHESSS. Dear god. I finally got this finished. I started it in August. I knew it was going to be elaborate but not THIS elaborate. Photoshop was being a dick to me almost the entire time. Needless to say I hate this thing now because it's old. And all the lineart sucks now. I'm not out of my rut yet. Painting skills got a little better. Learned a lot. That's all I'm happy about really.This is for Hetherev. It is large. Fortunately for you all I was too lazy to do any sort of text. Laugh with me as we can't keep a straight face looking at some of these horrible examples of anatomy. Believe me. I'm laughing HARD. lol.

The artwork, transitions and overall combination and flow of colors and action are superb. I do agree with some of the comments regarding the story. Not knowing what the character is or what he is doing made it very frustrating for me to follow along down the journey. While not all art requires an explanation, this is more like a linear comic and the changing appearance of the character is distracting and confusing. I had to go back and forth several times to see if I could find evidence of what was going on and if there was more than one character. Even his robe/shirt seemed to change at some point. Fortunately, in this case the workmanship of the piece warranted extra diligence to find out and read through comments to see if there was an explanation, and there was. That won't be the case all the time and for all people and the brilliance of your work may get passed over and not recognized. Congratulations on your DD.

I totally agree. I'm pretty novice with comics. I've only just started dabbling in comics and sequential things this last year. The sequence of things definitely did get considerably lost in all the jumble. I think with so many things I wanted to include I didn't rightly pick out which were most important so there ended up being a lot of fluff in between.
The amount of time spent as well I think ended up causing me to shift my focus a bit as I moved from one end to the other. Originally it was much much shorter. Lol. Don't remember where I changed my mind. Tunnel vision maybe. No pun intended.
Yeah, he actually did lose clothing on the way but I think I forgot to draw the bit where it got ripped off. Hahaha.

Well I'm glad you like how the water looks because it was a pain in the butt. Haha. I did it well enough in the first few swirlies there but then a few weeks passed and I forgot how I'd done it. Blood was fun though. That was pretty easy to do with the smudge tool.

What the hell is going on in this picture? I thought art was supposed to tell a story, but this clearly is just a series of mismatched confusing flashes of some confused character. I don't understand how shit like this gets a daily deviation. Shame on you, learn to tell stories.

Have you ever heard of the phrase 'reading between the lines'?? You might not understand this, but is that really what matters? She worked hard on this piece and it turned out beautifully. It's a great display of digital painting.

It's just a thing for a group I belong to called Hetherev. This my character's first challenge: showing how he got to Hetherev in the first place.

I'm confused: At first he has paws. then they are gone all of a sudden, then he gets wolf arms which will be gone later on as well. Do I need any background information?
