Description
First off, this is 's oc's shikai. I did a design-up on a picture he sent me.This is his oc's shikai:
Its release command is " Intercept, Midnight Void" - [Setsuju, Mayonaka Garandou].

hmm its up to him to decide as its his zanp, but mine is a little bit to easy on the curve/hole (it should be a bit wider imo) based on the one u did, i would continue the curve instead of making it go straight like a fork.

Ah, so you mean that the tips should curve in a little bit? I made it like this because you said it to hold down people at their neck without cutting off their heads...so I made it 20 cms wide and deep. But you're right, it looks a bit forky...

not curve in, but instead of continuing straigth forward maybe stop where it starts to become straight?
so that the outter line curve more inwards and intercept the inner curve before it will reach the enemy's neck. its a large sword u know

It's no problem doin these pics, it's a simple thing of repositioning the model and hitting the "Export 2D image" button.

And makeing the whole sword took me about 3 hours, 1 hour for main form, 1 hour for the runes and 1 hour for finding the right colors and coloring it.

aha, the only colors are the handle,hilt+metal and the glow/signs.
you can use that as a color description. the hilt-color is supposed to be bronze?
for color u can stay with the picture, or you can actually ask cuz i did it for him
if u meant the carvings. as i said its carved down, not too deep but a little, the blade is quite thick. the "walls" are not colored(carving walls) only the ground. and thats what glows.

But I have two suggestions if you'd be so kind. First I think I'll be going with "Midnight Void" [ "Mayonaka Garandou" - not sure where you got your translation? ] so I imagine that will alter at least one of the symbols (they actually do mean stuff, yeah?)...
The other is the side blades. While I like what you've done with them, I'd like you to make a small change. The bottomest section should stay the same. The very top section too, except for extending down the blade a little bit less. Then I'd like two smaller (roughly two thirds the size of the current middle piece) blades in between the top and bottom sections to complete the design. Could you please make those changes for me?

btw i did some research for the name of ur zanpaktou. and i found "hollowness,emptyness,void" - garandou.
"the void of space" - Unchuukuukan.
"Muko" - void.
"Munashii" - void.
Sankou - "midnight,Dead of night"
mayonaka means the same as above.
Hanshou - midnight
Juuniji - midnight
also, did you notice the curve in the middle on the top blade? isn't that just perfect to chop heads? i actually intended it to be big enought to be able to hold down/up someone by their neck without getting chopped if ur char wants it.

that you can use whichever u want of these translations. im not sure how many options u had when you choose the ones u sent in the comment. what ims saying is that the "cling" of the name is important ^^ and you should use whatever u find best sounding. + ill use the final text in the edited picture ^^

Ahhhh, right... so just more "options" to consider, huh? Yeah I've done some homework too on it but yes, let me have one more look to be sure.
'Void of space' doesn't quite suit... that's why I likes "garandou" because it's like his sword is hollow, it eats kido, and it's an actual object itself so it not just a plain nothingness... plus it rolls of the tongue, in a way
"Hanshou Garandou" doesn't sound right.
For "Juuniji" I got twelve o'clock, noon, midnight... so that rules that out.
...and "Hanshou" got all manner of things besides midnight so I don't think so.
...and "Sankou" got - midnight, dead of night, the small hours

- proceeding to
-third proof

about the blade- yes they were even longer and i changed it, the middle was also larger. i tried with two blades i didn't like it that much, but its your zanp ^^ ill try do some edits. how many "middle" blades do you want?

It's possible, I've asked a few poeple to draw this zanpakutou and don't worry, it is all mine in the first place. I'm not...er.. good with drawing so I ask others to on my behalf
