Their "backstory" is called the marble hornets. It's not really classed as a backstory, like for example jeff's backstory. But it will tell you nearly everything about these two

It's weird that the actor "Tim" who plays the character of the same name, is really funny while in the marble hornets he's all serious. Just look up Troy has a camera. It's really funny :3

GODDAMNIT, SOMEBODY NEEDS TO MAKE A MASKY AND HOODY GRAPHIC NOVEL WITHT HIS FOR THE COVER. They are, like, the perfect examples of prefect teammates/best friends, AND WE HARDLY KNOW A THINK ABOUT THEM. On top of that, if they really are a gay couple like fan art suggests? Well, both Masky and Hoodie are from the YouTube series Marble Hornets. It has been revealed that Masky is actually this person named Tim. Masky and Hoodie aren't really seen together except for in one entry (or episode, basically the same thing) when they are working together to kill this person named Alex. However this seems to be more of a "the enemy of my enemy is my friend" thing because later on, when Tim stops using his masked persona, Hoodie and him don't really get along. In one entry, Hoodie actually hides Tim's medication, causing Tim to go into a seizure, and films the entire thing. Also, in another entry (specifically entry 83) Tim assumes Hoodie as responsible for the death of one of his friends and shouts at Hoodie "I'll kill you" and sort of inadvertently ended up doing that (it's been debated though if Hoodie actually died, because he only fell from down onto the ground from a story or two).Β Β

..... Friendships/relationships can be weird? Or maybe Slendeman was displeased with Maksy, possessed Hoody and made him hurt him as if saying "I force your own friend to watch you suffer. Do not fail me again." I don't know, maybe it was even a DIFFERENT Hoody; what do you think?

I don't know, I think part of that is correct. Maybe slenderman after failing to get to Tim because of the mediation, instead used hoodie, and while Tim is in his masky phase hoodie and masky get along. But out of it Tim doesn't remember the events of the masky phase and so attacks hoodie seeing him as a threat? Maybe? It's hard to explain why slenderman took over hoodie without spoiling the recent videos and who hoodie is. If you want to know I can tell you.
