i actually have a theory on what happened to his personality in beast machines
basically we know that the maximals kinda take on traits of whatever animal they use as beast modes, like cheetor is a bit cocky to match his speed, rinox is big and strong, but also slow and steady thinking, silverbolt had both wolf and eagle to him, clearly making him a more loyal and noble character, but in beast machines he lost all that, became a jet, and then became a vulture, not really a noble bird and basically shed away his more noble characteristics and became a more violent fighter.
like i said its just a theory, but tell me you dont see that as an answer
