As posted on tumblr:"I’ve been asked by a couple of people about who Owl is. I keep drawing him but I haven’t actually presented any backstory. With that in mind - I’ve been attempting to make some time to try my hand at graphic storytelling."

Simple, hand-made look, expressive, nicely done, computer writing (works best) with choice of font style to fit the drawing and mood.
Feels professional!
The only "negative" point I would say, (and still, it's very personal, so not necessarily "negative" 
There's some very nice effects that could be done with a very light color palette, like a black & white with yellow and blue shades...
But that's just me

Well, from your Sherlock stuff I know you're good with the comic form, so technique wise I know you're good there. And with content, while I'm not familiar with your original story sort of work, I believe you know the right calls to make.
