I was messing around with a quill and some ink :3 Thanks *ArtisticDuality for the presents
This was for this awesome dress contest: [link] but sadly I finished too late!
The title's from a song that reminds me of someone I know, everytime I hear it on the radio. I really hate that song lol, but my friend loves it

ahhhh yes! thats a problem, normal canvas's dont absorb ink very well :S maybe if you prime the canvas first a few times...hermmmmmm Ive only ever used ink on paper before

Thanks for the tips... I may try gesso and a sharpie pen. Though wouldn't acrylic paint kind of cover the inking? HMM... I just don't know. Plastic you say? XD

acrylic paint is pretty translucent. your inkwork will show through for the most part..

Wonderful work, Sasha! I really LOVE the detail and urge you to work with pen & ink (a watercolor wash in the background would be cool too) more often. The steadiness of your hand leaves me jealous.

I missed you too, and was really happy to see one or my favorite artists pick up a quill & ink. I used to do many, many Pen & Ink drawings in the past. It's a great mental exercise to put down a watercolor wash FIRST, then pick out images to enhance with your pen. You might scare yourself though.

My friend does something similar with ink and tea, and coffee and soy sauce. We tell him this is his "condiment phase.
