Beautiful character design! Love the bird. One critique if I may, her outfit reads more dragon than phoenix to me. Was that your intention?
I like how you incorporated the pattern in the background, that's something I've been playing with in my sketches, now I'm tryoing to figure out how to add them to my finished pieces. Did you make it yourself or is it a pre-made template?

Hi and thanks! The task was to create a concept of an asian female character with costume details resembling phoenix, I didn't do that 'dragon' face on purpose really, that's a pure accident
The client also requested that this character has to wear a cloak that makes her invisible, so I thought the pattern will reinforce that effect, here is the final pic- 37.media.tumblr.com/e583297166…
The pattern is a free stock I've found somewhere on the Internet.
