[link] even though i know that most of everything in that scene is not candy/edible i still want to eat that room. so does Nat, probably more than me. the original movie is still the best, i don't care how much you love Johnny Depp.i don't know what Nat's chasing here, you can guess for yourselves.

So cute. This character works really well in black and white for, well, obvious reasons. But yeah, nicework adding in linework to distinguish the black glove from her hat. That's always a pain in the ass when inking by hand.
I like both Wonka movies, but I'll admit the candy looked tastier in the first.

pfff. classic oompa loompa songs are classic oompa loompa. new ones are too flashy. that and they just used that one guy as all the oompa loompas, which is lame and cheap.

I like flashy, the old ones were just too, bland for me.
I found the using of one guy to be unique and funny, particularly when he was dressed as a woman, though I was highly disappointed that no one has used the right look for any of the Oompa Loompas. (Yes, I have read the book, it's better then both movies)

flashy is just a way of tricking audiences with shiny things. movies that manage to be classic without the use of wild special effects are always going to better.

That is true in many cases (Transformers).
Both movies have their own ups and downs: the Chocolate Room in Burton's film was just wonderful to look at compared to the original, but the original's Willy Wonka was classic and better then Depp.
