auuugh. this isn't good. klar made me upload it so i take no responsibility. she wanted to see what claire's weapony thing looked like. bad bad bad. believe me, i know all the dumb mistakes and badness in this so hush up.claire's mine.. kyuubi/9 tailed fox demon thing. photoshop, no taking, yaddayadda, faving w/o commenting is boo. randomly commenting only on pic titles, also boo.

Her hair is really cool and I don't see glaives very often so I really like this. Nine tailed fox characters tend to be bland but this one is very interesting.

Oh, the glaive. I've always been a big fan of the glaive (unless I'm ridiculously wrong and this isn't a glaive at all, in which case, my sincere apologies). There seem to be far too few drawings of badass women with badass weapons. It's great to see there's at least one more out there.

Oh man, that's gotta hurt. I've been in love with the glaive ever since reading Tamora Pierce's Protector of the Small series when I was ten. No one else understood what I was talking about when I said, "crescent-shaped blade atop a long wooden pole."
It's relatively self-explanatory.

I've always wondered, because I'm not well-versed in mythology, and you know so much..so please excuse a silly question, but do kyuubis (which I understand are nine tailed foxes, but..) do they have any relation to the shape shifting fox spirits also of oriental myth? There was a Studio Gibli movie about shape shifting animals that was great, but I can't remember the name...it was about Racoons
It's a really beautiful picture!! Your colouring is so perfect ;_; The tails are my favourite; such a nice, floofy colour. You always do such good work, but I'm always scared to comment because...well..I stink. so there.

the animals in the Ghibli movie (if i'm thinking of the right one) are tanuki, or racoon dogs. generally whenever you see racoony animals in anime and stuff they're tanuki, which arn't the same as the mythical foxes that pop up in japanese mythology, but somtimes share similar abilities/traits.

Yes, that's right, Tanuki...I haven't seen the movie for ages (which is why I cannot remember the name,) But I think the Racoons mentioned other creatures having shapeshifting powers.

The gradiant ( gradient? o.o; ) is actually very well applied to her hair and the fur of the tail. And I like how her expression is between aloof and confident. You chose a very graceful pose, too.

I love the little stylized hair ties you put on :0 'n now i gotta justify potching you to draw this over and over by actually drawing her with weapon. doh. *all in fail mode* Crow is going to be so so wary of that hand now. and probably be really retarded and ask her if he can use it to liek, knock his shoe off a branch he can't reach.

Shot I think you did a good job on the weapon design, I like how you did the hatching lines along the blade to give it some depth.
You're good at drawing hair, I like how it flows in this and how you have it puff up between the little hair straps. Quit being so hard on yourself, your good at what you do and for trying out different things.

personally, i think the whole things awesome, but if nothing else, her hair and weapon are amazing. so, regardless of the mistakes u see, those two stand out a lot to me. *shrugs* not very constructive, i know....>.>

I can't say how much I love the way she's standing. Her weapon looks really cool and I'm in love with the flowing hair. Very nice colouring too.
