well it's sufficiently after midnight here, so i can upload this.this is a present to ME for finishing the rough draft of the paper that anyone who talks to me will know i've been jabbing at since weds. woooooo! i was going through a magazing and there was an ad w/ a lady holding one of those candy hearts in her lips, and i wanted to do something similar w/ arielle. she looks crazy doped up here, i promise she's not, she just has those eyes. i like her hair but i mucked up the shading on the bangs. that and the scanner never scans reds very well BOOO.
much thanks to britt and lydia who helped come up with what the heart should say. i wanted something that would work for a vampire, i wrote in 'be mine' on it before lydia suggested 'you're my type' which is good and witty cause it works off the blood aspect. oh well. those heart things arn't very tasty, she's probably just using it to lure in a dancing hobo.
let's pretend this is my vday pic for next year, shall we?
and since someone'll ask, prismacolor markers-her skin shading is brick beige, darker shading is putty, hair is jasmine.

this is really cool, i love the markers and how you use them. was wicked to find this pic cos i've been experimenting with markers recently (yyyeeeeyyyyy cheap uni supplies!) and this, oddly enough, reminds me slightly of a pic i uploaded last week. the pi9nk heart is well cool. and the loveheart and the name of the piece...wicked.

Curious, why is it that you discourage critiques but people still do so? I take it your system is either not working or you fade with the discouragement but will take positive remarks?

if a person has 'critique discouraged' marked on their pics i don't critique it. generally i don't critique other people's art unless they ask for it to be. i mark no critiques on mine because i usually already know what looks wrong, and mention what looks wrong and i don't want to have 10 people going 'such and such looks off' when i've already said that in the desc.

I was almost in tears the other day because I found my most commonly used Prisma marker with the cap half off. It was totally dry. I don't have the money to go and buy those stupid markers separately! But whatever, I wanted a new set with more colours anyway. Okay, just rambling :3
