Thanks very much for the support through the years, especially you who've been here from the beginning. I know that you all have made me better. Your comments encourage me to do better, to create more art, and you all well... make me feel talented, and able to become more talented. Whenever I see beautiful drawings here on DA, I think if someone can do that, I can do that as well, and it makes me work hard to get to get to that level in my artwork. I've always dreamed of being a true artist, someone who makes you see the world as it is--kneequakingly, breathtakingly, heartstoppingly beautiful. I know I have much to work on, but you all are so loving and kind, it really gives me alot of faith that I will one day be able to do what I love everyday of my life, that I may be an artist.Blessed to be in your company,

If you're thinking about getting one, I got my first tablet online for around 60 dollars + shipping on amazon sonwheres, also wacom sells refurbished tablets at a reduced rate if you don't mind them being used, and they don't make you pay for shipping :3 Also, you can save alot by not buying the wacom brand and choicing an off brand like adesso or something. ^^

of all the timelines i've seen other fellow deviants put up it usually takes 2-3 years to see their hard work paying off! i've been slacking off for so many years due to my work schedule. i should really start reading tutorials rather than just doing fanart/copying pictures for reference =]

Yes, I wish I could have found some artwork from before 2004. My art stuff in my closet back home... somewhere, so I just used my devs whilst I was here on da ^^ Oh, do read sum, tutorials are so fun to read :3

yah, hopefully i'll find some time to read the tutorials, it's always great to learn new things and expand from there onward. i don't have enough nice things to make a timeline anyway haha maybe in a few years i will, hopefully. =] don't you get frustrated when you can't find the time to relax and just draw something and instead, there's always something else that needs to be done first! =[

Its amazing how much you improve between 2004 and 2005! This whole path to improvement really inspires me a lot. One my biggest problems with drawing is I can never draw a unique or difficult pose with out using a refference and you know theres always other problems, but this is one of my main ones. Anyways it was really cool to see how far you came!

Yes, before this, I did alot realistic drawings from references... like people would give me a photo of a person and I'd draw it for them.Those drawing are much better than the anime drawings of the same year. Drawing anime was much harder for me, because I don't use a references so I have to really concentrate on how things fit together, how to foreshorten and how to create depth, where as when I just look at a photo an draw it, I don't have to thing about much, all the information is right there. Life would have been easier had I had thought to use references more though :3 Though I think drawing without references has helped me alot to really understand what's going on in my drawing--why it is good or not. Now a days, I try to go without much references but stay aware of my limits, and seek references when need...

Wow! You progressed allot over the past 3 years. I keep seeing these improvement deviations, and I start to think of how i'll improve and what my art will look like. Practice makes perfect and this deviation really helps to get me motivated. Thanks for showing it!

I'm glad you think so ^____^ I find looking at other's improvement deviations, and I'm so inspired. Sometimes, I make art and I think that I feel like I'm not improving. When I look back it's much easier to see that I am improving.
