Description
read--->Oh Werther...... you has issues
I've read "the sorrows of young Werther" by Goethe. The story is basically about a very very depressed young man who is in love. He seems to have serius moodswings too. ;>->
I feel sad for poor Wilhelm who has to read all the letters and problems Werther keeps sending him.
Werther (c) Goethe
"Göte var en söt pöt"
tummen upp om ni fattar skämtet~

Werther is so cute, i feel so sorry for him! He was born in the wrong age, he belonged in the Romanticism not the enlightenment.

This is great! I mean, I really love Goethe's book, but... in a way you've drawn everything "The sorrows of young Werther" is about.
Really made me laugh.

mmm, har du läst boken?
eftersom man uttalar namnet Goethe som "Göte",
så man säger "pöt" istället för poet

Ehhh Werther, he should really listened this advice, but he prefer to think about Lotte or something more stupid.
Is that a censorship on poor Wilhelm?
I just love this idea! I wish that happend in book!
And second and third panels are my favourite xD

As sad as it is, this is pretty much an accurate summary of Werther. I really hated that book. I think he seriously could have used a chill pill. Talk about having moodswings!

I didn't hate it, I was very impressed with it actually it's just everytime you put the book away after reading for a while ya go:
aaaw Werther.... shut up ya emo-kid. -__-;

*laughs* I think the reason why I hated it so much is because we were very pressed for time when we had to read it. (Our teacher was pregnant, so we had to do the whole course in about one forth of the normal time...) And trust me when I say it, having to force yourself to read a book about the world's first emo in such a short time span...not fun. Not fun at all.

nope I know xD I also had a tight scedual, I think I read it in two weeks or something. The first parts were very slow and boring. I prefered the last part where the letters ended and it was in the "almighty-story-teller-mode" (as I call it )

Two weeks? I think I would have been glad if I'd had two weeks. I think we spent a maximum of a week on each book. Some times we got even less.
We read so many boring books during that time, I remember, but we got it done!

hehe aaw poor you doesn't sound like fun, it feels so much better reading a book slowly, and taking your time with it ^^

Ah yeah. But I remember it as being a rather good time anyway - we had a lot of fun despite the stress...even if the books were painful.
