Description There is a misconception that Wolverine is indestructible because of his Adamantium skeleton. However, his bones are not connected in one solid mass or he wouldn't be able to move. Adamantium doesn't cover his muscles, sinews, ligaments, etc. He is quite vulnerable to stronger enemies such as the Hulk (who's healing factor is greater, and can tear him in half or dismember him).

Good thing he can regrow his arms.

This is why most Hulk/Wolverine fights disappoint me, with Wolvie just swinging his claws around like a fat kid with a lightsaber.

I think Wolvie wouldn't pop his claws until he had a good reason to. The throat, the groin, the eyes, the armpits, the hamstrings...these are good targets if you're fighting a Hulk. Not just aiming at his general body mass.

they'd just heal just as fast as any other part of him

They'd heal eventually. The few times in comics where Wolvie actually gets the drop on Hulk, and actually slashes his throat, Hulk is shown to be in some serious trouble. Like, he has to hold his throat to keep from bleeding out before he can heal up and recover.

Great art, but terrible spelling and grammar in the text. I don't think a comic company would accept this due to the errors.

LOL, Wolverine's shoulder will heal, but no more arm in it. "heal that, punk!"

Very cool depiction indeed. It echoes the WWH scene where Hulk showed how easily he can beat the crap out of Logan if he REALLY wanted to

The "I let the world know" and "he lets the heavens know" words also told how MUCH the difference in their powers are.

Very cool story-telling and eye-popping colors

Glad you liked it! This one got less backlash than Sentry blowing up Superman- which surprised me.

I'm not sure about that, "original is always the best" but for all we know, Marvel could've created Sentry to prepare for the next DC/Marvel cross-over and designed him to be superior than Superman
Pre-crisis Supes easily crushes Sentry however if it's post-crisis then Sentry can win

Agreed. I'm a fan of Wolverine (the old school Logan anyways, lol) but he just doesn't stand a chance against the Hulk.

I'm with you. I agree on everything you said. The problem is that for the 616 mainstream comic universe Wolverine, it is wrong. Apparently his sinews and ligaments and such underwent a mutation when the Adamantium was bonded to his skeleton. They became some sort of flexible Adamantium. Dumb idea and it removes a logical weakness for a very tough character. But it is canon.

Never heard that one. And you're right it is a dumb idea. However, it still wouldn't get him out of webbing that can hold a helicopter falling from the sky. Adamantium is unbreakable, it doesn't make him super strong.

*Chuckles.* actually to a limited degree it does. He can bench about 800 lbs to a ton if I recall. I know if you look at the 1988 series, there are scenes of him lifting roughly 20 men in a pile over his head. It's explained that the Adamantium allows his skeleton to support weights that normal man can't lift. Also as his healing factor constantly regenerates shredded muscle tissue instanly, he has a high strength. Granted it isn't Spiderman level and he should not be able to outmuscle webbing. It's comics though and nothing would surprise me.

You're giving me facts I've never heard of, thanks. Marvel is way too inconsistent with Wolverine for my tastes. If they keep that up, he WILL be able to snap Spidey's webbing. And leap tall buildings in a single bound.
