This is what i expect from sakura because she's a medical ninja. She is trying to keep him alive by doing a manual heart pump and gave mouth-to-mouth rescue breathing. Her rescue breathing continues as soon as they arrive in destination. This is the first time i saw a panel doing CPR in manga. The panel is the same in the real life actual event when i was assigned in O.R. last year due to M.I.

I know that narusaku and sasukarin are rejoicing right now but one thing for sure. This is not yet canon. What sakura demonstrated here is the example of first aid.
This is will be their FIRST time when their lips touched. And, this is her first time to do major surgery to her closest friend.

POV:
* ANYONE CAN PERFORM THIS, INCLUDING HINATA & GAARA. Yes, everyone can perform CPR but they need to learn and train first. What you've seen in these panels, it is a cardiac surgery. ONLY professional surgeons like Tsunade, shizune and sakura can perform this procedure. Why? Because this procedure is TOO RISKY. Small mistakes can lead death. 4 out of 10 patients survive using this procedure.
* SAKURA'S NOT ENJOYING. Enjoy is not the right word when you perform a CPR. I don't think that she's not enjoying resuscitates naruto. She's trying her best to keep naruto alive. If they referring here:

(because of sakura's eyes). The reason why she looked left side while providing slow rescue breath is because she needs to check naruto's chest. If his chest does not rise, then this means the air does not enter/accomodate in lungs. Look closely at sakura's eyes, notice there there are dark circles under her eyes. This is the sign of exhaustion, tiredness and desperation. Can you imagine how difficult it is that you kept on continuing CPR (both rescue breathing & manual heart pump at the same time) to a guy more than a hour?
* THE KISS. This not a romantic kiss, this is a MOUTH-TO-MOUTH RESCUE BREATHING also known as "THE KISS OF LIFE". She's trying to provide enough air into his respiratory system. I know that some of you disagree what other NS said that it was a kiss. What matters is that their lips were touched. This will be Naruto/Sakura's first kiss of life.
* IN ADDITION REGARDING TO KISS. They call it as "Indirect Kiss" where two people end up having a kiss indirectly. For example: in Naruto ending, we see sakura drunk narutonic, accidental kiss of naruto & sasuke, swapping of food/drinks, the kiss on forehead and this, the CPR kiss. For Westerners and Americans, they thought that there's no malicious at all (It's like you kiss him because you're trying to save his life or it is just a CPR) but for Japanese (based from their Traditional Cultures), it was an act of bond or intimacy. You can't find in any Naruto Chapters if kurenai and Asuma were totally kissed in public. Sadly, we found out in previous chapters that kurenai was pregnant. Accidental kiss of two boys is part of comic relief (as stated kishi) but the CPR kiss (narutoxsakura) is the big step for sakura to get to her inevitable conclusion as to what she is feeling. These flashbacks of naruto's dream to become a hokage (it is a sign that she really care him) and the statement "I absolutely can't let you die" (It shows that she's afraid of losing him) hinted to naruto fans that she started to show more affection than she feels. I'm still skeptical about this. I think i should have to wait and see what will be her reactions if naruto survives. If it is a sign of affection or not.

Personally I've never really liked Sakura for reasons that are too long for me to go about writing... However with this chapter we finally see her doing something amazingly difficult while under direst. I can happily say that Sakura has earned my respect!

And I just notice something it may just be CPR but in any anime/manga you know how Japanese tend to over dramatize any lip contact. They will hype up everything that has to deal with romance i just saw an anime were the boy almost gave CPR to the girl and EVERYONE was ohhing and ahhing and it was so overly dramatic everything slowed down heart beating get NASCAR racing fast. So you know Kishi is going crazy that he put this in his manga lol

That's why I'm madly in love with Sakura she will never surrender and give up. Actually I'm SasuSaku fan and this didn't hit and made me sad at all, like you said it's just CPR, and actually I give it an applause because this is the way Sakura have to work and behave, (GO SAKURA!!) not just give up and cry for Naruto (like I just actually did , and of course for Sasuke too). I think that is a little bit creepy how NaruSaku fans think that this is a lovers kiss, I don't believe Sakura is a necrophiliac . Sakura is just helping her bestbuddy and team mate , like they said, there are differents tipes of love and I see the brotherhood kind here.

Now I may just be reading to much into this chapter, but Sakura's words gave me a sense of foreboding. I may be a die hard NaruHina fan, but I hold nothing against Sakura and have long felt that she was a great character. Sure she has had her faults, but she has grown as a person throughout the course of the story. One thing that has thrown me off far to many fanfics over the years has been Sakura bashing, and if I am honest with myself, have to admit that after Hinata, Sakura has to be be second choice for someone to be romantically paired with Naruto.
Anyway on to my reason for why I got a kept on getting such a bad vibe throughout this chapter. I am not sure if everyone remembers, but there was a time when Sakura assisted the Sand elder (Chiyo) in saving Gaara, after he had had his own bijū (Shukaku) ripped from his own seal. Sakura witnessed the technique that Chiyo used, and despite what many of the less positive Sakura bashers may say, as a highly skilled medic and a skilled kunoichi, who was priased for her skills in the accadamy, not to mention that she managed to become Tsunade's second apprentiace, I have little doubt that she is capable of performing said jutsu.
So here is what has we so worried, Sakura says, "No matter the cost," and that has me wondering is Sakura being setup for them not being able to reach Minato in time?

At the very least, now Naruhina purists who state "Sakura has never done anything big for Naruto" can be shut up, pretty easily. It's hard to top an on the field heart massage. Those things are only done by incredibly skilled and experienced surgeons and that's just in an operating room.

After all, a few NSers saw this chapter as a REAL kiss.
So don't you think that there's a possibility that they just so WANT for their ship to float, that they ignore otherwise obvious facts.
If you say the same about NH - yes, MAYBE.
But the 469 rejection is a FACT, the 631 punch is a FACT, the 540 thought of Sasuke and not Naruto is also a FACT.
While there are NO such FACTS for NH, that it would be a CLEARLY negative moment between them.
All you DO have is:
Lots of fan assumptions, of various types, yet none of them are sufficiently supported by actual manga FACTS;
The FACT that he hasn't said ANYTHING on her confession (which includes NO REJECTION as well);
And... that's all - no actual REJECTIONS or CONFESSIONS for loving someone else (in CLEAR WORDS of Naruto HIMSELF, not fan assumptions for NOT-said words and "must've meant something else") after 437/469.

Actually, yes, it's still pretty ambiguous. We've not even seen a straight up romantic gesture from either ship and we've yet to see anyone decisively say "we're in a relationship together" so it's pretty ambiguous. Deal.

Not sure we meant the same meaning of 'ambiguous' regarding NH and NS.
At least I see them THIS way:
For NH, it's ambiguous with a neutral/positive interaction history, meaning "he likes her, but maybe only as a friend now - yet maybe he'll grow to love her one day".
For NS, it's ambiguous with a neutral/negative interaction history, meaning "he liked her, but does he now - or maybe there's nothing more than friendship possible between them".
NH - from a neutral past to a possible future positive, their relationship potentially GROWS.
NS - from a positive past to a possible future neutral, their relationship potentially DIMINISHES.
So, yes, neither reached ANY 'certain' status, but the directions they SEEM to move in, are OPPOSITE.
That's WHY I 'like' NH - cause to ME, they have a 'neutral/positive movement' pretty much from the Exams, while NS has a 'negative movement' ever since 469.
Seriously, I'm very LOGICAL to assume that someone with a neutral/positive interaction history has a bigger CHANCE than someone with a neutral/negative interaction history.
Pure LOGIC here, no PERSONAL FEELINGS of mine.
THOSE only came as a RESULT of SEEING all of the above.
That's why I say that I don't 'ship' NH, cause 'shipping' is rather emotional or opinion-based, not objectively plot-logical.
My case being purely the latter.
Don't confuse it with me being really emotional about Hinata herself - that's NOT the reason I support NH.
After all, there's Kiba too, or even Neji/Sasuke/LOLMadaraLOL - IF I'd only go by liking Hinata.

Oh, for the love of god, it's simple. Kishi hasn't made anything concrete. Of the masses of ships in the fandom, only two have ever been confirmed. One was between the protagonist's long dead parents and the other was between Asuma and Kurenai, one of whom ended up dead before we learned about their child.
Hell, even Shikamaru and Temari, who've been implied and even speculated by a few characters to be lovers, have yet to be flat out stated to be together.
So, when I say it's still ambiguous, I mean this fiasco of a shipping conflict isn't going to be over until both characters flat out say they're together and even then I just know there'll still be people arguing about it.
It wasn't over in the Invasion of Pain arc. It wasn't over in the Five Kage Summit arc. If Naruto and Sakura ended up declaring love on the battlefield, I still doubt it would be over.
Fuck it, I need some Code Geass, right now. There's a huge amount of ships there, too, but at least they all have actual moments, together.

If you manage to accomplish the impossible and keep Naruto alive long enough for the other half of the kyubi to get sealed inside of him...then you'll have officially redeemed yourself for all of the crap that you've put Naruto through! Narusaku will actually become acceptable to me again.
I'm honestly a NaruHina fan and I still overall prefer that pairing to NaruSaku. But if NaruSaku ends up as the canon couple, fine.
