Description
Another Pokémon move for Our POKEMON Generation III Tribute (229/270) at Game-Art-HQ , this time animated! That's the only way I know to illustrate these defensive attacks, haha!I remember I tried to learn my Lairon Steel Wing through a TM during my first playthrough of Pokémon Sapphire. I just didn't understand why it didn't work, Lairon is a Steel-type, so he should be able to learn it! My English wasn't good enough to know what a 'wing' was back then XD

Reminds me of when I kept trying to learn my charizard fly in pokemon red. He's got wings, so why can't he learn it? >:I

Charizard can't learn Fly in Pokémon Red?
If I owned Pokémon Red when I was young, I might ended up being in the same situation. I did learn Charizard Fly in FireRed.

Yeah it's really weird. Apparently anything that had wings, but wasn't classed as a flying type just couldn't learn the move back then. :I

Ah, that makes sense. Though it didn't work the other way around, did it? Gyarados is a Flying-type but couldn't learn Fly?

Tbh I did as well, although to be honest I'm not sure it was entirely long-lasting.
I mean, I still loved the little guy, and I found Lairon to be... for lack of better term, attractive, but in terms of party pokemon, it got replaced...
