Finally decided to draw Liara.
I tried some new stuff here, hope you like it! ^^

Thank God that you didn't take part in creating Mass effect, so there would be only one rightful option for romance.
But hey, you like Liara with female Shepard - great, someone else like her with male Shepard - that's also great. I didn't romanced her at all - and that is fine too.

So you're saying that everyone who likes a heterosexual couples are homophobes? You seriously need to reconsider that. 
Besides - in your opinion any male who likes steamy girl on girl action is, I don't know, supportive to lgbt groups? That's why you are opposing it to a homophobia? Sorry to disappoint you, but that's not being homo-friendly, it's sexism.
You don't fall in love with gender, you fall in love with a person, a personality - in my opinion, at last. So gender doesn't matter. And if we make an assumption like that, guess what? Female Shepard and male Shepard are THE SAME person. And lets go one step further - if they have a baby with Liara, female Shepard's and male Shepard's baby would be the same person. (the same genetic material - but, well, maybe the child's facial features would differ
So you're only choosing between male or female skin Shepard will wear, because their romance is exactly the same and Liara love them both equally.
So don't call anyone a homophobe on these kind of criteria you presented above and simply admit that you just like watching two girls together. And whatever, fine by me, but live and let live, you know.
Besides, most of the ME players are men - and that would kind of explain why "the majority likes female Shepard better".
