Description
Shot on the same evening as the previous shot at Sidmouth on the East Devon coast....The clouds were unique this particular evening ive had to reduce the saturation and vibrancy in this shot.
On the horizon you can make out the remains of the napoli a container ship that ran aground about two years ago now, and there is a large land slide further down the cliff. These landslides happen quite often here, the cliffs crumble very easily making the red cliffs the predetermining factor as far as colour goes and this can look very brown and dirty at best. But devon is made of this clay so i guess its representative.
I was going to call this 'the s in sidmouth' because of the 's' of the small wave breaking....

i like the composition, but i feel that there is to much of the same colour in the foreground, a little more contrast in the foreground, and between the beach and the cliffs would really make this shot for me i think.

I like it. It's odd, but usually I'm not suggesting a lot of crops. But with you I find myself doing that quite often.
Here I would go for a 4x5 crop removing the lowest portion of the image. The result will be simpler and more powerful.
