*re-editThis was shot early one morning on Dartmoor, The rising sun burst through the thick cloud to dapple the hills in the distance with sunlight. You can just make out snow on the far hills and a thick blanket of fog rolled over the moor to add another dimension to a beautiful landscape.
i appreciate the composition could be better but this burst of light lasted for literally seconds so i consider myself lucky i got a shot at all.
This will be my last shot of the year and a fitting one i think, showing lots of elements of the wonderful Dartmoor National Park i am so lucky to live near, a truly magical place....

Thought I would leave a bit of ciritque for when you get back, just to bring you back to earth a bit!
I find the horizon very appealing, defintiely great condiitons to be shooting in. The orange seems a tad oversaturated to me however. What did you do to teh foreground? it looks flat like you used fill light or something? at any rate its lacking in form and just looks a bit unnatural somehow.

it's hard to believe this was taken in december with all the freezing cold weather we've been having...it looks much more like an autumn scene.
