Shot on my first morning in the Faroe islands the island you see in the distance is Nolsoy, typical of the shape of many faroe islands....shot from Torshaven the capital town..i was blessed with a magical sunrise....

I love the exposure on the ocean and the rocks in the foreground. The water in the foreground is a little bright but I can understand why, the reflections from the sunlight on the long exposure.
There is a little noise on the darker clouds but I often get that with mine so no worries
Over all a very well composed and beautiful capture

What a beautiful shot! The composition is dramatic and has plenty of interest without being cluttered. I like the way the texture changes from the sky to the sea, the pool and the rocks.
I still use a CRT monitor rather than a TFT one, and I don't see the noise in the clouds that kulten detects. Perhaps this is an artefact of technology?
