*re- edit 04/08/12.I decided it was about time i did these red sandstone stacks at ladram Bay justice.
so ive been waiting for a decent sunrise for the past week and funnily enough it was the dog that got me up early this morning (usually its me dragging him out of bed!!).
The sunrise could not have been much better really and i am making a concerted effort at the moment to get out in the mornings...
So shot at Ladram bay on Devons jurassic coastline, East Devon.

Beautiful photo. The movement of the water and the absolute stillness of the sandstone are a great combination. Lovely colors.

There's something special about sunrises...the air has that fresh quality you don't get at the end of the day.
Lovely image, nicely captured with a perfect shutter duration....a bit of movement and a bit of blur. The light in the rocks is great and I really like being able to see the pebbles through the water.
And I just LOVE your fancy new signature

.....as i said in my description im really trying my best to get up for them, which is a little easier this time of year as its around 7am, signature was done by a web designer friend...glad you approve....

I do appreciate the sunset times in winter....not that I ever find it easy to get up. Still, shooting on the equator (last December in Brazil) sunrise was around 5am, and that really really hurts
