Description
Kimmeridge Bay just after the sun has dipped behind the mainland. Loved the light bouncing off these rocks.enjoy.
EDIT: Please let me know if this looks dark - my monitors are calibrated but the shot looks a LOT brighter in photoshop instead of viewed in IE/FF/Windows etc. Very strange.

This is a very nice shot. You captured the scenery in a awesome way. Great lightning and really nice atmosphere. The Point of view is also perfectly chosen. It's an fantastic picture to see the beauty of the world! Furthermore you have
the attraction to think about a lot of things, if you're looking at this picture. It embodies the freedom and infinity. It's timeless beautiful and you can be buried in thoughts for a long time while you're looking at it.

Gorgeous sunset. Love the colors-- it's not too dark from this computer. Probably is for some, but I like the shadowy corner, adds nice contrast to the colors of the shot. Yes, and I like the reflection off the rocks, too.

Way too blue for my taste - this really would work desaturated.....

you know I was thinking about desaturating that a bit.

It's a little dark but I think that adds to the atmosphere of the shot.
Really gorgeous colours and lighting

It does look a bit dark on my screen but then mine isnt calibrated at all and I got a light source coming from behind me, so it might be my monitor. Besides.. I like the moody effect that darkness gives to the image. Nicely done xx

very nice, but a bit too dark in some of the shadoes IMO. coming from you i assume thats how it looks on the camera though, not a result from over processing...

Really nice light.
It can be because of colour settings in PS and IE. Check if you are working with AdobeRGB or sRGB. IE can not display AdobeRGB correctly. So for this you need to switch to sRGB colours. So this might be your case.

nah I know about colour spaces mate - its converted to SRGB before exporting to 72dpi jpeg. In windows explorer and any browser its around 10% darker than if you load the exact same file back into PS. Its bizarre. I've had it before but its not with every image.
For screen res its always safest to work in SRGB despite the fact it has a smaller gamut than AdobeRGB. Its the only way you can garuntee your work will be seen as you intended (excluding uncalibrated monitors of course lol).
cheers for the suggestion tho

I'll be looking shortly for some cheap solution. I need to calibrate my two screens as well. Can you recommend something good ?

I have a Pantone Hue Pro that calibrates two monitors but i've found issues with it whilst trying to keep both monitors calibrated so I just do my main LCD now.
