Description
Eleven, also known as Ellie Mae.An extremely emaciated cat that was rescued last week.
Eleven is fitting in with my crew fabulously. My oldest male cat, at about 8 years, keeps Eleven well-groomed, and Eleven just adores my two youngest cats, Chicken and Otis. Even my second oldest male, SnowBall is coming around and grooming little El.
Eleven is about 1.5 to 2 years old, estimated by our veterinarian.

She's really gorgeous, those yellow eyes are amazing.
I know she's in great hands with you - I hope she fattens up a bit soon
Any idea how old she is? If you say eleven I'm going to feel like an idiot

Thank you.
Ellie Mae is about a year and a half, not eleven. I thought she was much younger because of how tiny she was, but she has filled out nicely, though still needs to gain more. Now Ellie Mae looks like the adult she really is. Ellie Mae was named "Eleven" since at the time, before Darwin passed, she was our eleventh cat.

beautiful cat and beautiful shot! Does she like going outside? I am jealous that your cats groom each other. Especially so quickly. Every time Tiger gets near Crown she hisses at her - I wish they would bond better
The most I see them doing is chasing each other. Any thoughts?

I absolutely love this picture. The way you captured this-the simplicity of it is beautiful. The amber of her eyes draws you into the picture.
Beautiful shot.
I wish I could draw this, but there is no way I could do it justice.

Thank you so much for your comment, I really appreciate it.
I had a difficult time photographing Ellie Mae; that day had been quite cloudy, so the sunlight shining through the windows was not enough natural light to take a decent photograph (I hate using the flash), so I took her outside and she flopped down onto the grass after exploring the backyard a bit. Ellie does have the most beautiful eyes, none of my other cats have eyes like hers.
Go ahead and draw the photo, I would love to see the outcome.

I'm glad you took her outside. It was the perfect lighting and setting. Does she ever have beautiful eyes. Her eyes were the first thing I noticed in the photograph. Pure amber with light hitting them just right.
Thank you, I'll take a knack at it, but it may
take a bit. School starts up for me this next week, so it's going to be a bit. When I have free time here and there, I'll start
