Wow! This was a lot of fun to work with! I had a blast making Kikyou's shinidamachuu! I actually just painted those instead of making full lineart out of them. I thought it'd make them look neater
Anyway, this is the scene from Chapter 465 in the Inuyasha manga titled Light. To give you a basic idea, here's the dialogue from that chapter~~~~
Kikyou: This is the first time I've seen it. Inuyasha...I've never seen you make such a face and cry like that
Inuyasha: Kikyou, I...I WASN'T ABLE TO SAVE YOU!
Kikyou: You came for me...and that's good enough
Inuyasha: Kikyou...

It's so sad. That chapter made me cry so much. Anyway, I'm going to ask right now before anybody gets worked up to please not flame me for drawing this picture. I understand there are people out there who ship the InuyashaxKagome (me being one of them!) and don't like Kikyou and vice versa. I'm going to ask you now to please not say anything negative towards either woman as I like and respect them both. COOL! Kikiyo isn't bad per say, but I think the anime sometimes gives her a bad name. Just my opinon but I think their(Kikiyo/Inuyasha)love was more tragic in the manga.

Thank you! ^_^ The anime and the manga are the exact same story, the anime just changes things around from the original/real story (the manga) but really it's all the same. The anime stopped where as the manga still goes on.

I know, I own some(not all yet)of the manga. It just seems to me like sometimes they alter things in the anime a little TOO much.

What? You hate Kikyo? -gasps- HOW DARE YOU?!? LOL jk jk. Sorry if I scared you. I used to dislike Kikyo, too, but that was when I was younger. I didn't understand her back then. If you dislike her, that's OK. Even when I disliked her, I cried for weeks when she died. I think she has a good heart, and Kagome does too. I favor Kagome over Kikyo because I can relate to her more, being so close to her age, but Kikyo is a great character, too IMO. I'm sure you'll learn to like her eventually. But if you don't, that's OK.

I don't hate Kikyo, nah. I mean we all go through a phase, I suppose, our weeb phase. Oh jeez I was such a Kikyo hater back then. I don't care much for her character still? I don't think I will "learn to like her". If I don't like her....I don't like her?? But I don't HATE her.
But uh yeah, you should probably check the dates before you reply;;; Cause people change in...5+ years

This chapter was an amazing one. Actually throughout the manga (after the anime finishes) you'd be amazed how much Kikyou changes.
