Well, for those of you that have read the last and final chapter of the Inuyasha manga, you'll know the disappointment InuxKag shippers and the meaning of the title *sighs* I don't have much to say except the background brushes aren't mine and I can't remember where I got those brushes for the life of me. The poses of the drawing, of course, came from the original manga picture when Inuyasha and Kagome are reunited. I wasn't trying to copy the pose but stay more with the original image, just them being pulled into the kiss I so longed for. I wanted to be lazy on the background and not draw as much attention to it. I wanted the focus more on the happy couple! Anyway, hope you guys enjoy this! Great! I am indeed disappointed by the ending of the series/manga..Rumiko could have given us a better romantic ending. I mean really.... *sigh*

Yes, I agree. The manga was disappointing, but we did get a kiss in The Final Act. 
I feel knowing that Inuyasha and Kagome got married was romantic enough, but the lack of kissing was still disappointing.

Ugh - I know I was disappointed at the end. No kiss or anything! But other people say they got 'married'... I can't really see that for some reason

They did get married. And if you watch the the last season of the anime, it also says that as well. ^^ But yes, they did get married. Kagome refers to Sesshoumaru as 'brother-in-law'

I wish they wouldn't have cut so much out on the last season since it was one of the most important.I can understand she wanted to get the Inuyasha series done with but she owed the fans more.Also,great job on the picture.I wish they would have showed him kissing Kagome more then him kissing Kikyo.

I don't think it's due to the fact that she cut so much out, rather that she's left the story open to your own interpretation. It's up to you if you want to believe the well is still open since Kagome has come back through. However, the fact is is that it was Kagome's choice to stay with Inuyasha on the other side. Not Inuyasha's, but Kagome's. She made that choice all by herself. I'm disappointed she didn't give us the kiss we'd been longing for, but they had a nice in the last episode of the anime, so...Anyway, thank you! This is an old one, almost 2 years old, but yeah.

Holy smack. All this crap just over an ending for an anime? It doesn't really matter when you think about it. Please, if you want to insult people about their opinions over an anime, go to the forums about it, not the deviation. 
As for you This is beautiful. I don't follow Inuyasha, but I love it. You did well on your coloring and the special effects.

I loved the story, but the ending sucked. Why? Kagome gave up her future in her time. If it was true love, Inuyasha should've come through the well to her time.

Why do you think the ending sucked? It was Kagome's choice to go and live on the other side of the well. The story was left completely open. We don't even know if Kagome and Inuyasha can continue to go back through to her time and see the family. Not only that, but Inuyasha had no idea the well had re-opened at that time. He wasn't hovering over it like a dog would a bowl of soft food. The only thing he knew was Kagome's scent was emanating from the well. Also, him going back into her time would've been rather illogical. He's a half-demon with dog ears. He's probably going to live for hundreds of years more than Kagome would. People would want to capture him and do experiments on him just to find out what matter of being he really was. I'll reiterate; it's completely illogical. The smartest choice was to stay in Feudal Japan not only to protect Inuyasha but Kagome as well. Not only that, but it was Kagome's choice to live there. Not Inuyasha's and it is true love. I think that if Kagome wanted to go back and live in her time, Inuyasha would've went with her no questions asked. However that's not what she chose. So the ending didn't suck, IMO. It makes perfect sense.

Okay, one, I'm pretty sure that there are yokai who have a way of blending into human society, and two, she'll never know what is going to happen to her family. Hell, Souta could die Final Destination-style and she'd never know. By the way, it's my opinion the ending sucked. I'm allowed to voice my opinion. What the hell? I don't know so much about inuyasha, but I know she was just stating what she thought about it. There was no reason at all to attack her for it! This is her AWESOME drawing and I think she has a right to have her own opinion on it. Really though what the hell man!?

You asked me why and I gave you the answer why. It's not just opinion, but it is fact. Also this is MY deviation last time I checked, and I think I'm allowed to say whatever the hell I want on my own deviation. I'm just stating that this was Kagome's choice. Yeah, there were like two parts in the beginning where it shows one of Kagome's breasts and then Kikyou's ressurection I believe you can see her breasts and that's it. It's no different than seeing your own everyday. lol
