Okay, so please don't shoot me! I know lots of people really hate Ruby, but... I don't!
I'm a fan of hers and I'm a fan of Genevieve Padalecki's as well! I've been a fan of hers since Wildfire, so I think it was only kinda natural that I'd be overjoyed she played Ruby in Supernatural. Now don't get me wrong, I liked Katie's Ruby, but I just preferred Gen's more. I absolutely love Ruby. She was one of my favorite female characters in the show, and even though I kinda sorta hated her by the end of the season for what she did to Sam, (because nobody takes over the love of my Sammy!) I still like her haha. xD I still love seeing her in the show when I rewatch Season 4, so yeah. I thought it would be cool to splatter the background with blood and make it look like Ruby's name is written in blood. A ruby is very symbolic to me. Not only is it my birthstone, but it's also the color of blood. I've had a blood transfusion before to save my life, and so I'm rather fond of "ruby" so to speak, as morbid as that may sound. I thought the title was fitting. Anyway, hope you guys like! (or hate haha!
) I worked on it all day. I'm hoping to possibly give it to Gen at Chicago Con this fall if I get to meet her. All comments are always appreciated and returned!

I'm a Ruby fan too but I do hate her alittle for what she did to Sammy!! Also I like both Gen and Katie's versions of Ruby just hate when people bash Gen. ;A;

Haha, yeah I hate her a little too for what she did to our Sammy. I have a love/hate relationship with her, kinda like with Cas, but honestly what she did to Sammy isn't nearly as bad as what Cas did. <.< I also hate when people bash Gen. ;_; It upsets me.

I know, I mean that's Jared's wife. Even if they don't like her version of Ruby/her they should still show some respect to Jared.
As you know I can't stand Lisa but I don't bash the actress.

Yeah, I know. I think it's awful the way that they treat her. I'm just praying I get to meet her at Chicago Con this October. I don't think people realize that by treating her so foul and saying nasty things not only hurts Gen but it hurts Jared too.
I know. Lisa may not be loved by everybody but Cindy Sampson is downright awesome.

True, it seems to me that some people (thankfully it's only a few.) think that cause the watch the show/pay to see the actors they can say what they want.
I was talking about this with another SPN fan and she was telling me about a con she went to and some of the nasty stuff this one women was saying about Jared's hair. >

She said something along the lines of "Is your hair afraid of your face." Basically saying that it looks like Jared's hair line was receding.

well i got to say star you're definitely improving! your realism is definitely coming out! might i suggest you use a slightly thicker lead pencil? or even a a thin charcoal pencil? it will add your shadows a nice smokey or seamy or misty feel depending on how you apply it.

I think Gen is a beautiful person. Sure I envy her for having Jared.
I havenΒ΄t watched Wildfire, which was chanceled early on German TV. But I saw a few episodes of "Flash Forward", where she had a little part.
I keep my my fingers crossed that youΒ΄ll be able to give this picture to her.
