I know I know...another sketch of Sam and Ruby. x_x Please don't kill me! I'm just in a Sam and Ruby mood. I dunno...we were watching Season 4 the other day and I just got in the mood. Plus I love Gen. I have a lot of respect for her. She's an amazingly sweet girl and so pretty.So did any of you guys watch the Season 6 premiere last night? Wasn't it downright awesome!? I LOVED it! I'm really worried for Sam though. ;_; I hope Dean can fix him. Something has definitely broken in him. Poor Sammy.
ANYWAY...So yeah. This is what I'm currently working on. It's taking a little time though. I'm not sure if I'm going to keep doing it in black and white or if I'm going to color it in realism like I did with my Sam and Jess pic awhile back. Let me know what you guys think I should I do!

I actually DID love it. I'm really eager and pumped up for Season 6 now that I've seen the premiere. I don't really feel like getting into a huge debate though if that's okay.

Ah, it's okay. I guess those things just happen, you know? Some people just like to be nasty if you don't agree with them. I just try and stay away from it as much as I can, you know?

I saw the premier online and OMG SAM WHAT HAPPENED TO YOOUUUU 
Bleh, sorry. It's just that no one else in my family is into Supernatural (and even for me, it's kind of a guilty pleasure *doesn't like horror that much*), and I don't know a lot of other fans, so I'm dumping my rants on you lol. Hope you don't mind. xD
I like what you've got here so far (even though my guts are screaming "DON'T YOU GO NEAR HIM YOU MANIPULATIVE LITTLE--"). I think my only criticism is that the faces could have a little more expression or emotion in them...but other than that nitpick, it's wonderful. Your sketches are always gorgeous. Since you started doing Supernatural stuff, your art style seems to have grown a bit; I really like it!

He's broken. Something inside of him is just broken. I think he's repressing everything. He doesn't want to talk about it. I think if he talks about it, whatever he's got those walls built up all around are going to come spilling out and he may end up having a pretty good breakdown over something like that. I imagine something like that may happen later on in the season. I've been keeping track of interviews and spoilers and such. I know a lot of what's supposed to happen this season, but I won't ruin it for you if you don't want me to.
Anyway, they're not supposed to have any emotion in their faces here. I used a reference pic to draw this image. It's from that ending scene of Lucifer Rising in Season 4 before Sam kills Lilith. (it wasn't easy! it took awhile to draw it!) Sam has a more kind of calm, subtle expression and Ruby's just waiting. She's keeping her expression neutral so she doesn't give herself away before he kills Lilith. But yeah, thank you very much! And I've really been trying! It's not easy, but I'm trying to take it to new levels! Thanks again so much, sweetie. <3

Yeah, you can tell just by looking at him that he's messed up. And not in a gone-to-the-dark-side kind of way. It's like you said; he's built these huge walls around him, to shut out the pain. If he can't feel anything, he can't get hurt. And yet he's barely keeping those walls together.
It's just speculation, but something's telling me that Dean will be the one to both send him crashing and pick him up again. When I saw that shot of him punching Sam in the promo, it didn't seem like an "I-hate-you" punch. It felt more like a desperate, come back to me, feel something! kind of strike. Like if Sam won't break the walls, he will...physically, if he has to.
I'm probably totally wrong, but hey, that's where great angsty fanfiction comes from, right? Teehee.

You are totally right. That's exactly the vibes I got from Sam too. I don't think he's evil or gone to the darkside at all. I think he's just closed himself off emotionally for so long and has just continued building those walls around his heart. If he can shut out his pain he won't have to feel it. He doesn't want to talk about Hell or think about it and honestly who can blame him? I mean he had the Devil himself inside his own skin. That's enough to really mess anybody up. My heart just breaks for Sam. *rubs chest* ;_;
I totally feel the same way! Gyah! Somebody else who finally thinks what I think! LOL Everybody else I've seen discussing it thinks it could be a shifter!Sam or a shifter!Dean which hey, there is that possibility since there's supposed to be a shifter next episode, but I dunno. I still feel like it's a desperate punch, a come back to me punch and Sam is just laying there and taking it. I can't tell if his eyes are closed or if he's unconscious or what. I just have a feeling that Dean is going to be the one who breaks down those walls and when Sam falls he's gonna be there to catch him and help put him back together again. I really do. I could be wrong, but there's nothing wrong with fun speculation!
Yes, this is VERY true! xD It's funny you say that because I've had a plot bunny floating around in my mind that I was thinking of writing, but I may wait and see what a few more eps bring us before I write it. And episode 8! All Dogs Go To Heaven! It's supposed to have a skinwalker in it and I'm excited about that because this will be the first time Supernatural has ever had a skinwalker in it. Those are creatures that can change into an animal form. I'm also looking forward to ep 6 Live Free or Twi-Hard.

It totally was and I totally agree. I think we're gonna find out more as the episodes go on. One of those gradually unfolding type things.
And alright! So far, everybody I've talked to has told me realism. So that's most likely what I'll end up doing!
