Mark picked some flowers and murmured cute things to Sparrow while laying down from across from her (this would be when she was feeling a bit down from a rough preggers day, and Mark thought he'd cheer her up a bit). He caressed and kissed her tummy now and then, slowly making a garland in her mane from the flowers. "Ya look so pretty. Like some nature Princess," he mused.

Sparrow blushed and looked away, laughing once softly. "I'm no princess..." she said quietly. But she felt warm inside.

Mark continued to smile, putting another flower in the garland. "Well... Yer my princess. With the loveliest o' crowns," he cooed.

"Oh Mark...." Sparrow whispered. She turned her minty green eyes to him and smiled softly.

Mark smiled warmly back at her, glad that her mood was climbing slowly. He leaned over and kissed her lips ever so briefly in a loving manner, scooting closer to her in the process. "I love you, Sparrow darlin'... 'n River too. Yer everythin' t' me... ya always will be."

Sparrow leaned against Mark and closed her eyes. She felt so tired, but content to be with her love. She felt Mark's body rising and falling with every breath he took and she listened to the birds and the rustling of the leaves.

Mark nuzzled her slowly and lightly as she rested against him, enjoying her silky mane cascading down his back and neck, her smooth coat tickling his. Mark smiled warmly, happy as ever to have her with him... and even happier to call her the mother of their soon to be born foal.

Right, so, this is an actual mini RP my friend WingedJustice and I had with each other last night. Sparrow and Marksman are just...my cup of tea. My bread and butter. My macaroni and cheese, and lemme tell you, I LOVE macaroni and cheese, so that's how much I love this pairing. They match perfectly with one another. They both have a love and appreciation for nature, which is how they got to know and fall for each other. Mark and Sparrow are just wonderful!

This takes place kind of in the future of where their story currently is. But WingedJustice and I have talked about their future together so much that it's pretty much happened and is now canon. XD We have no self-control whatsoever.
