nop, it isnt. Alchemy means "God's chemical" "Al: God" "chemy: chemical". Alchemists hate mages and wizards, but they use their simbology for the meaning of the knowledge. I told you that because im an alchemist

I'm going to have to disagree with that! The etymology of alchemy is unclear up to this day and there is no agreed signification for it. And Alchemists don't hate mages and wizards, that's ridiculous! Most alchemists TRIED to be mages too!

So much time since i was an alchemist. Well, alchemist hated them, its a very long history who begins with catolicism, and "desertors" who used their simbols for magic, at the time that alchemist used the symbols. Also, some wizard and mages copied some simbols of the alchemy, and there was a big discussion and people thought that alchemist were mages... its universal history. If you want i can give you by inbox the refferal links, with a true bibliography. I dont pretend to say "i know more than you", i am just sharing the information i got in those years.

The spirit and the soul are turned into "gold" when practising alchemy properly.

seems like a really good symbol, but you need to have direction in it. Putting words or another symbol somewhere in the center of the center might actually make this a better symbol. This is a good symbol which may be used for anything, but you need a direction symbol to give it a true form.

although i'm an ameture in alchemy i think it looks like a true transmutation circle..it's just one without an official element or one with the fifth element of quetessence[pureist]

It seems like a fire-based circle to me...and the five-pointed star represents the elements coming together (if I remember correctly)...all in all, a promising circle!

i have studied both exoteric and esoteric alchemy for many years now. i agree with every one else. its not a true transmutation circle. but it does look pretty cool.

I've studied alchemy in a far deeper sens than what I learned from anime.
(early) Alchemy, at its base has the four elements represented by triangles
Beneath those are individual elements represented by various symbols.
Additionally, chemical processes have symbols.
If you're referring to any of my deviations, I tend to focus on fantastic alchemy rather than the real science in my works.
