I didn't use this for promotional purposes nor did I make any money off of it. This is a site where FAN ART is prevalent. I didn't use the original image and call it mine, I did my own version JR JR's and now I've acknowledged that. Please drop it.

Using someone else's image and not stating it's someone else's IS the same thing as calling it yours.
And as I just replied to someone else, Fan Art is not the same thing as Fan Copying Art. Nor does any of this have to do with money. I assure you, art pay next to nothing...

I will, but I think any Spider-Man fan will realise it's Romita's work. I never claimed it was my own piece either but sorry for any confusion.

Many, many people would NOT know (that cover shot is nearing 10 years old?)...always best to cite what you are copying. Not giving credit, whether you mean to or not, is like claiming it's yours.
Generally, if you're signing it, it's proper to place an "after JR JR" next to your sig.
Sorry if it seems like I yelled at you, but this is something that bothers the hell out of me...
