You're cool Ash, it's just that Red was able to become the best Pokemon Trainer ever in between 25-50 hours, depending on the player of the game, and you have over 700 episodes, and you didn't even catch all the non-legendary Pokemon.

my opinion of Ash is that while he was growing he was an interesting and fun character. Once he became an experienced trainer he seemed to stop facing new challenges and became pretty boring.
