Well, we're not the only ones with nuclear weapons/capabilites. So, that doesn't really fit. You take a step further back and you realize that SCIENCE gave us the power to do all these amazing things (like blow shit up real nice like) and you go, YES! WOOHOO! and then you blow something up as an offering to SCIENCE!
