I'm uploading some old stuff for the sake of preservation, and to avoid the sadness of complete obscurity.This a set of flags made for the Mount & Blade: Warband modification "Warsword Conquest." Most of them are based on historical pirate flags.
Basically I'm not even a Warhammer fan, I just wanted to make some pirate stuff. I was going to head 3D assets for the pirate faction but I wanted more realism than the franchise accommodates and obviously the team wanted me to stay true to the over-the-top nature of the source material. So I quietly retreated, to look for a new creative outlet.
In the end, they scrapped the whole faction and so these went to waste.
Even if things didn't work out, there was no bad blood between us and I wish them the very best.
