Wow what a beautiful coloring job. I was going to color this too, but now I think I may just take my crayons and go home. Great job bringing out the cuteness and sensuality of the line art at the same time. Excellent color pallet and textures. Thanks for all the links too, they are helpful.

Excellent work! I think I will try that tutorial Thanks for the link.
To clean line art in Gimp, make a new transparent layer for the line art, then use the fuzzy select tool (magic wand) set to a fairly high threshold (like 80 to 100) and set to select 'Value' in the tool options. Then carefully select the line art (zoom in and just click on the darkest pixels) in the original, switch to the line art layer and paint in the lines with some color other than black (so you can see what you missed, I usually use bright red or yellow). Keep going back and forth between the original and the line art layer until all the lines are painted on the new line art layer.
Selecting too much is a problem: small adjustments in the threshold amount and careful selection of dark pixels will help avoid this.
Once you have the lines transferred, you can set the line art layer to lock alpha channel and repaint the lines black or whatever color you choose. Have fun!

Thank you
And thanks for this advice, I didn't know that method

You're welcome. The method is fairly quick, once you get the threshold set properly, and you have control of what selections you paint and what you leave out. You can lose some detail, especially on pencil scans, but it works well on GiosukeKun's drawings to get rid of the background texture.

This looks super nice, and I'm totally jealous of how the dress looks. The only negative thing I see, is that the hair looks a bit flat. D; But the coloring on it is still super gorgeous.

Thank you . And you're totally right about the hair, it isn't well detailed ^^".

Just a little note I guess. It still looks great, and I wish I could give you something "constructive" but I'm not really good at coloring either.

I'd love to do a coloring of Manaar. I just wonder if you had the same drawing but with a white background (or one solid colour background). It would be easier ^^.
