NOTE: This theme is still in beta and I would appreciate it if you guys could notify me of any bugs or inconsistencies you find.Also, let me know what you think about the Aero caption buttons and how I could improve them.

The only way to do that is by replacing the images and attributes that apply to each of the progress bars (8 of them).

I have some images to use for the progress bar, but I don't know where Windows stores them. Could you help me locate the files I need to replace? I spent an hour googling, but I couldn't find anything that seemed exactly right. Maybe you know of a tutorial you could point me towards.
I am a "Switcher" meaning I have switched from Mac to PC in the past couple of years, so I don't know nearly as much about manipulating and customizing Windows, like I used to do on my Mac.
I Love the Zune theme you did, btw. Whatever assistance you can provide would be very much appreciated.

Hi, I found two bugs:
In my communicator(Gadugadu) when it comes new massage tab should blink [link]
and
in Menu Start the text is not legible [link]

I'm in the middle of fixing the Start Menu background issue, and notifications blink for me.

I'm liking this.
A few issues I've found so far:
- Large icon'd taskbar seems a little too large. I like the size it is by default.
- You've made the hover state of taskbar items just grey, but the colour glow effect appears during mouse out. I'd actually just make the hover the colour effect instead of nothing, because it seems buggy and AFAIK unfixable.
- In Basic, above the sleep/shut down/etc button, the same gradient bevel that appears effect repeats itself. It stretches depending on the height of the menu. Uh... yeah this needs a screenshot: [link]
- In Basic, in the start menu, when you open a folder the background becomes white, making text unreadable. Tooltip text is also white. In Aero there the white is gone but is no hover effect when... well, hovering.
- Half of the details view column headers are light grey, the other half are dark. It shifts with the window being resized.

Nope, 30px height is used uniformly throughout XP, Vista, and 7 for small icon taskbars at 96dpi. I don't plan on making taskbar mods in the near future.

This theme is awesome! But... This would be more cooler if this them would have its own start orb. START and its in orenge box. This would be best theme ever.

I could work on something along the lines of a Start Button for this theme, come to think of it. It might not have 'Start' text, but it'd be a start button, and not an orb.

The Zune Basic theme looks outstanding, and it's a perfect port to Windows 7. But I seem to be having trouble with the Zune Aero theme; it seems to still have the Royale blue to it, and not the Zune black.
Might just be something you haven't done yet.

I like everything about this theme, though i think the contrast could be toned down on the start menu bevels. I love what you're doing to mend microsoft's flawed basic theme.

~UkIntel has tons of tutorials on how to make themes for Windows Vista / Windows 7. However, if you don't feel like resource hacking, you can pay for Windows Style Builder .

That Zune theme is based on the Zune Player and Metro UI while mine is based off of the Royale - Zune-substyle for Windows XP.

I'm not sure if you are aware or not, but he isn't attempting to create a theme based on the fairly new Metro UI, but the original Zune theme by Microsoft.
