Description "We need a montage!"

>>MONTAGE<<

"Even Rocky had a montage...!"

Oh sorry guys, I spaced out a little, anyway, I gotta say we were treat to some fun episode once again ^^
I really liked the whole ordeal with AJ and Rarity at the Spa - also, who knew this place is SO big?!
I don't know about you, but to me this little story felt kind of like season 1 or season 2 kind of episode, which I
don't mind really, it was nice although I gotta say it feels like it has ended way too fast xD
Also AJ confirms what I always say - Duct tape solves EVERY problem. And if it doesn't? use more duct tape.
I can't really say much more, it was entertaining episode and moral of the story is somewhat relatable. Cute, little
fun episode, that simply puts a smile on your face ^_^

1) The Saddle Row review ( ep 9 )
2) Applejack's "Day" Off ( ep 10 )
3) A Heart's Warming Tale ( ep 8 )

5) The Gift of Maud Pie ( ep 3 )
6) Newbie Dash ( ep 7 )
7) The Crystalling ( ep 1 & 2 )

Wasn't a huge fan of this episode, but it did have some good bits.

Seriously I had to google the duct/duck tape thing to see why people write duck tape instead of duct tape - everyday is a school day

well it's not a mistake, it simply a common expression vs actual name of object so, you can't really say it's a mistake

Aaaaaaand cue Bob the Builder theme.

Against popular opinion, I think this episode is pretty solid slice of life material. Most seem to dislike how low key it is, but we can't have explosions, mental breakdowns, and all out chaos in every episode.

People don't like that episode? What? why? it was really good. Yes, it was simple and low key but I don't see the reason for every episode to be bat-shit crazy to be entertaining sheesh, you truly can't please everyone.

I agree, and considering it came after the very clustered Saddle Row Review, this was a good breather.

And if there's one thing that will be memorable in this episode, it's Spa Dash.

it was a cluster but in good kind of way - it was entertaining from the first to last minute. That said, we don't need episodes like that all the
time, becuase that could get stale too. Some variety is welcome Ah well, all the more evidence to me why it's a good thing that the writers don't cling to every opinion and idea produced by the fandom, because that would be a mess I mean, sure, they tip the hat to fandom every now and then but not all the time, often doing their own thing - thank heavens.

Personally, I wasn't too fond of this episode. It wasn't a bad one, but... I felt it's the weakest of the season thus far. While the characters were 'in character' it felt too simple and there wasn't really anything that kept my interest, apart from Aloe and the other spa pony. They were fun. It had a few cut gags, but... yeah, didn't have much in the way that I cared for... kind of like most season 1 episodes. *ducks from incoming bullets* Not bashing. Still, it had some good merits and the problem was believable. Just... rather boring and not overtly funny. Maybe it's just me that felt underwhelmed.

Well, let me see about my own list.

1)  A Heart's Warming Tale ( ep 8 )
2)  No Second Prances ( ep 6 )
3) The Saddle Row review ( ep 9 )
4) The Gift of Maud Pie ( ep 3 )
5) The Gauntlet of Fire ( ep 5 )
6) The Crystalling ( ep 1 & 2 )
7) Newbie Dash ( ep 7 )
8) On Your Marks ( ep 4 )
9) Applejack's "Day" Off ( ep 10 )

No worries, ain't gonna bash anyone someone from having different opinion For me the simplicity - because, yes, it was simple episode - of it was nice change of pace, and that season 1 kind of vibe is something I can't help but apprecieate, but it's all the matter of preferences obviously

It was a decent episode, but like many AJ centered episodes they seem to go to absurd lengths to find something for her. Maybe it's just me, but they really don't seem to put much effort into her episodes. Maybe my thoughts might change later, but for now I can't help but feel a little disappointed in this one. STILL, the episode had it's moments and I did find myself laughing at several points, even the ones that made AJ look like a fool. It made for a fun SoC review.

SoC: Applejack's Day OffWell, it’s another Saturday Night Special:
What’s the special, well another addition of my Stream Of Conscience review for MLP. After last week’s episode, I don’t expect this one to top it but I do hope it’s at least good one. All I know is that it revolves around my second favorite of the Mane 6, the sexy, sassy country gal Apple Jack. Unfortunately, the writers don’t seem to know exactly what to do with her. Usually they build on what we already know about her and when they build new dimensions, they seem out of place.  For instance, they make up some kind of before unseen OCD behavior (Somepony To Watch Over Me) or an unequally unseen phobia (Made In Manehattan).  Hopefully, any new dimensions they add to her (if any) in this episode aren’t too farfetched. However, I’m thinking with the episode title, it’s going to go with what we already know about her and revolve around her hard working nature and

I see, quite surprising opinion to be honest, given this is not your "typical" AJ episode - at least it didn't felt like it, and AJ's " I see some problems here that need to be fix, but I'm overlooking stuff at my own turf" kind of thing felt believable - she is resourceful one, and it's apparent here, not perfect as seen in second half but still Hell each character has their "fool" moments every now and then
