THIS PIECE, PLEASE COMMENT AND GIVE ME SOME INSIGHT AS TO WHY YOU LIKED IT, OR GIVE ME SOME CRITIQUE. I WELCOME CRITIQUES.Wanna know a REALLY big reason why I haven't updated my Sibling Squall story? This pic is the reason.
Its sorta a spoiler image, so if you don't wanna be "Spoiled" before my next fan fic update, you might want to avoid opening the full view.

Took way longer than I expected too. Trying to get the characters to look right after referencing screenshot, after screenshot, after screenshot...it was very tasking and tedious, but I'm pleased with how the characters came out. I still hate replicating Dark Ace's Hair, but I just love the guy too much to avoid my constant drawing of him.
The whole thing with the lightning clash effects is to represent the whole face off between Dark Ace and Soara. Just gotta wonder, who will win this little face off? The tension just keeps rising!
At least that was my goal was to portray intensity between the two parties.
The Red Lightning represents Dark Ace's Fire Bolt Crystal, and the Blue Lightning represents Soara's Lightning Bolt Crystal.
I did not make the background, because I suck at backgrounds. The background is of The Wastelands and it belongs to Nerd Corps. Forgive me Nerd Corps. T_T

I think this is generally a great picture, the emotions of the characters, the tension it creates and the contrast between the two sides, red/blue lightning is especially cool

I agree with exacerbate666, you are really good at duplicating the same style. I haven't read you fanfic yet, but I love your art.

Well, the actual work of duplicating took a couple months to get the characters to look the way they do.
Can't tell you how many screenshots I had to stare at on my computer screen...or how long I stared...
But in the end, it was for the best.
