This here's a little something I drew up last night and editted in Photosuite fer . I promised her one time that I'd probably draw her something and here it is. I'm not much of a fan of ZAGR, but this was in my head last night, and as always, I had trouble sleeping. X_X Woke up around 2 PM sharp. Oooy, the evil. Anywho, I just wanted to draw something small and simple with some slight indication of ZAGR. I know, the shading looks like crap in this one.. Heh, poor Zim, Dib pushed him in a puddle after a rain and Gaz offers him a hand ta help him. How courteous. X3Zim and Gaz are Copyright to the genius that is Jhonen Vasquez.

I like this. I'm not too big into ZAGR, but I know a friend who would love to see this picture. It's a bit of a relief for me to see a picture like this. I see too much ZADR around on this site.

I don't mind romance fics as long as they are written well. I am extremely fond of ZaDR myself. I don't like ZaGR as much but I'll read it if it seems interesting. Haven't seen a lot of DaTRs that are good. You should draw out the ideas, lest you write a fic!

I almost wrote a DATR fic once. It was originally entitled Frankenzim, y'know, after being inspired by Mary Shelley's Frankenstein, but like many of my 'fics, never got finished. -_- Damn me and my procrastinating, ADD-infested mind. Well, you like what you like, right?...I'm kind of a fan of Tallest Slash, but that's because it seems very plausible. X_X Ooy, so much stuff to draw, so much to draw.

Yeah, I know, ZAGR's extrememly out of character. X_X That's why I'm not too fond of it. Same with ZADR...which is pretty sickening. Ooy. I don't think I'll draw more, but there has been this DATR idea floating around in my mind...AAAAAAGH!! GET IT OUT!! >_X

"DATR" stands for Dib and Tak Romance, though like ZADR and ZAGR, it's not plausible. At least, I don't think it is. =/

Like ZADR is? The characters may be twisted, but they were written straight, and like people, fictional characters are created in certain ways and as such, when they deviviate from said ways, it's a big no-no.
Note the following:
Who saved Zim from Dib's first tirade when she had motivational cause (as per the pilot)? Gaz.
Who shares Zim's tastes in hating humanity (especially Dib); having a fondness for piggies, waffles, and pizza (note that the latter two would be in Irken form for Zim); wanting to change Earth (one wanting to conquer it & one merely wanting the rest of stupidly ignorant humanity to disappear); and harboring a dislike of Tak (Zim disliking her for her way of using others to try and take over Zim's mission & Gaz disliking her, not only for her attempts at mind control, but because it's realized that were more-competant-than-Zim Tak able to dominate Earth, she wouldn't fear and/or respect Gaz like Zim does, and such, Tak wouldn't be able to be swayed to Gaz's way of seeing things [i.e. unlike Tak, Gaz could manipulate Zim into doing her bidding])? Gaz.
Who spared Zim doom from a nightmare world, despite the fact that he touch her, took away her Game Slave, and place said gaming device inside her body (as per "Dark Harvest")? Gaz.
Who allowed Zim to use her as protection from the rain, before merely threatening him--like she does everyone else--to keep up appearances (as per "The Wettening")? Gaz.
Given those points of evidence, how can you say that ZAGR is a less likely possibility than ZADR (which does not exist, because if anything, it would be ZADF [as per "Megadoomer"], because the characters are straight, as said)?

Not when JV himself ALLOWED it. He himself did say--in the DVD commentary near "Dibship Rising"--that pairs COULD exist and that Irken ARE capable of love, despite their being born as they are. It explains why Zim tolerates GIR and Minimoose, why he later would accept Skoodge into his base, and why--without Dib to pester him & Gaz to just be Gaz--Zim would have no reason to conquer Eath anymore (as per "Megadoomer").

He'll probably not wish to discuss pairs, because they typically make him "ill to [his] ill-prone belly". Him saying that pairs could exist doesn't mean that he'd want them to and Irkens being capable of love doesn't mean that they'd see love as humans do, nor does it mean that he wants love to exist, because he didn't want it to be a focal part of the show. On top of that, for all we know, he could've been trolling fans, since he's been known to do that.
