Artist's Notes: So for the month of October I wanted to do something special. I like cryptids and I figure they are sufficiently spooky for the Halloween season. The Partridge Creek Monster or Beast is not the most popular cryptid but it is one of my favorites. The creature was spotted in 1903 in the Yukon region of Canada and described as very similar to a Ceratosaurs but covered in bristle like fur. Similar creatures were later said to be spotted in Siberia. I always find it interesting when accounts of living dinosaurs don't match what dinosaurs were thought to look like at the time but were instead said to be more bird like or covered in feathers. Unfortunatley, like most cryptids, this may have just been a fantasical story, despite the fact that it was published as a true story in a newspaper.
