Artist's Notes: After more than two years I finally have a large enough collection of works based on music to post some more. As you might be albe to tell this was drawn soon after the last batch and as such my skills in lanscape drawing and human figures aren't too great. This one is based on the song Exodus by Fates Warning. This is one of my favorite songs but not one that I listen to all that often. When I listen to this song, or any other song off of the Awaken the Guardian album, it always makes me think of Might and Magic 6, specifically the Dragonsands area towards the end of the game. This song also has some of my favorite lyrics of any song:

Distant vision, tempting water
fall to my knees I'm going to drink it dry.
Blazing desert, sun reflection on the water
He caught my eye
Up in a tree laughing at me
vulture of fear why don't you go away

Spit out the sand
Be on your way

As you can probably tell by the way the lyrics are written out this song has very unconventional timing but if you are up for some good melodic power metal, I've provided a link to the song down below. I don't listen to this album nearly enough but it is full of gems and hopefully I can finish more works based on it sometime soon.
