My entry for the FFVIII Club fairy tale contest! I chose "Sleeping Beauty" because there are a lot of similarities between that fairy tale and the game itself. I also took a lot of inspiration from the song, "Sleeping Beauty" by A Perfect Circle.Ultimecia is the thirteenth wise woman who curses Briar Rinoa; she wants Rinoa to die at the age of fifteen from a prick of the finger.
Edea is the twelfth wise woman who softens the curse, making it only a one-hundred year sleep that Briar Rinoa falls into.
Squall is the brave prince who climbs the tower where Briar Rinoa sleeps, hoping that he can find a way to wake her.
And of course, there is Briar Rinoa, who is obviously, the Sleeping Beauty...
