ty! this was my 2nd portrait done in cs6, the rest have been done in cs5 not that it makes a difference. i have a trial version of cs6 for the next 26 days lol.

I have been using standard MS paint for all my portraits - it's too time consuming so I was considering moving to PS CS5... It has so many convenient commands and tricks for the trade...

you should download the trial of cs6! it's free, you just need to register (which is easy anyway)

that's the official download. once the trial expires, you can just google various trial codes and it's not a problem.
i used to use MSP too for my older ports and it's fking terrible. theres a lot of things that MSP doesnt have that i really like, like adjustments and brush presets. it's definitely worth your while to download PS of some sort as it really has a lot of great things msp doesnt!
