Description
(From the excerpts of the journal of a certain "professor?")"During my time investigating, I mean, on vacation in the Eastern most part of Hoenn, in the city of Pacificlog, I have encountered the most bizarre & unexpected festival (it's hosted from the 5th of June all the way to the 17 of June). A festival dedicated to the legendary Pokemon, Mew (it's my first time in the region so encountering a festival dedicated to a Pokemon most commonly seen in the Kanto region is quite an unexpected surprise along with the fact that it's a region inhabited by yet another legendary, Rayquaza).
According to local legend, local fishermen accidentally enraged Rayquaza by entering it's lair & the dragon almost destroyed the town by creating a giant wave with the rustling of it's tail. Catastrophe was almost certain when a small pink catlike creature appeared. It created a barrier to protect the town & lured the long green lizard back to it's tower.
In honor of this heroic feat (although the meaning's gotten a little lost over the years especially due to the fact that some trainers have actually used the festival as an excuse to attempt to venture to Rayuaza's tower-this results in a bunch of maritime rescues conducted by the SS Eyria, a small shipping vessel that graciously offered to take me to this town in the first place), the villagers prepare a large feast & play many mew related games (mainly things like rafting competitions, tossing balls through hoops, etc. I'll update this entry according to what I see); since these games tend to related to mew's psychic powers, it has lead to an increasingly large gathering of psychic & ghost type Pokemon who have these exact same abilities although random trainers will join in on occasions just for the fun of it. As one gym leader who I have previously met along my journeys has stated: "the goal of the festival is to promote teamwork, compromise, dedication & gratefulness" (although I do enjoy the food-the festival seems to be popular with food critics from all around the region & even has lead to the creation of a rather popular food item, "mew tarts". I'll tell you what they look like once the Mew Treats stand opens; fish though, is still the most popular item).
Hopefully I will continue to come across more unusual festivals during these outings. I must go measure the nearest krabbies to see if anyone has one that's bigger than mine.

You guessed it, my entry is last minute & just for fun~(it's also a sticker! I'm gonna laminate it & put it in my psych book! >w<) 4 hours; sharpies & some color pencils-totally sexy. Basically, the concept is that this sticker is from a souvenir stand at the festival.
